Interested in Study Abroad?

There are many study abroad opportunities available for Asian Studies students, and several of them are currently accepting applications for the 2022-23 academic year. We've listed a few of particular interest here, but check with the Education Abroad office if you have additional questions!

  • The Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship offers full funding for a summer program to students who identify as an ethnicity which is historically underrepresented in study abroad programs. The deadline to apply is February 14, 2022.
  • If you receive Pell grants as part of your financial aid package, you are eligible to apply to the Gilman Scholarship or the Gilman-McCain Scholarship! These programs offer up to $5,000 to support up to one academic year of a study abroad program. Learn more at the Education Abroad information sessions on February 8 and February 22
  • Not sure what programs are available, or what might be a good fit for you and your academic or career plans? Stop by the Study Abroad 101 session on February 9
